Memorial Garden
2006 has seen the opening of the memorial garden for those children that were killed at the school during WWII.
I managed to acquire a video tape of the original BBC Look East news item featuring the announcement to create the memorial garden. It also includes stories from the survivors. My mother was persuaded to recount her experience and is featured first in the original article.
Two further items were broadcast on BBC and ITV following the opening of the garden on 3rd October, exactly 66 years after the event.
